• ਮਿਤ੍ਰ ਪਿਆਰੇ ਨੂੰ ਹਾਲ ਮੁਰੀਦਾ ਦਾ ਕਹਿਣਾ ॥

  मित्र पिआरे नूं हाल मुरीदा दा कहिणा ॥

  Please tell the dear friend - the Lord - the plight of his disciples.

• ਤੁਧੁ ਬਿਨੁ ਰੋਗੁ ਰਜਾਈਆ ਦਾ ਓਢਣ ਨਾਗ ਨਿਵਾਸਾ ਦੇ ਹਹਿਣਾ ॥

  तुधु बिनु रोगु रजाईआ दा ओढण नाग निवासा दे हहिणा ॥

  Thudhh Bin Rog Rajaeea Dha Oudtan Nag Nivasa Dhae Hehina ||

  Without you the use of rich blankets is like a disease for us and the comfort of the house is like living with snakes.

• ਸੂਲ ਸੁਰਾਹੀ ਖੰਜਰ ਪਿਆਲਾ ਬਿੰਗ ਕਸਾਈਆਂ ਦਾ ਸਹਿਣਾ ॥

  सूल सुराही खंजर पिआला बिंग कसाईआं दा सहिणा ॥

  Sool Surahee Khanjar Piala Bing Kasaeeaan Dha Sehina ||

  Our water pitchers are like stakes of torture and our cups have edges like daggers. Your neglect is like the suffering of animals at the hands of butchers.

• ਯਾਰੜੇ ਦਾ ਸਾਨੂੰ ਸੱਥਰੁ ਚੰਗਾ ਭਠ ਖੇੜਿਆ ਦਾ ਰਹਿਣਾ ॥

  यारड़े दा सानूं सॱथरु चंगा भठ खेड़िआ दा रहिणा ॥

  Yararrae Dha Sanoon Sathhar Changa Bhath Khaerria Dha Rehina ||

  Our Beloved Lord*s straw bed is more pleasing to us than living in costly furnace-like mansions.

• ਧੰਨੁ ਧਨੁ ਭਾਗ ਤਿਨਾ ਭਗਤ ਜਨਾ ਜੋ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮਾ ਹਰਿ ਮੁਖਿ ਕਹਤਿਆ ॥

  धंनु धनु भाग तिना भगत जना जो हरि नामा हरि मुखि कहतिआ ॥

  Dhhann Dhhan Bhag Thina Bhagath Jana Jo Har Nama Har Mukh Kehathia ||

  Blessed, blessed is the good fortune of those devotees, who, with their mouths, utter the Name of the Lord.

• ਧਨੁ ਧਨੁ ਭਾਗ ਤਿਨਾ ਸੰਤ ਜਨਾ ਜੋ ਹਰਿ ਜਸੁ ਸ੍ਰਵਣੀ ਸੁਣਤਿਆ ॥

  धनु धनु भाग तिना संत जना जो हरि जसु स्रवणी सुणतिआ ॥

  Dhhan Dhhan Bhag Thina Santh Jana Jo Har Jas Sravanee Sunathia ||

  Blessed, blessed is the good fortune of those Saints, who, with their ears, listen to the Lord*s Praises.

• ਧਨੁ ਧਨੁ ਭਾਗ ਤਿਨਾ ਸਾਧ ਜਨਾ ਹਰਿ ਕੀਰਤਨੁ ਗਾਇ ਗੁਣੀ ਜਨ ਬਣਤਿਆ ॥

  धनु धनु भाग तिना साध जना हरि कीरतनु गाइ गुणी जन बणतिआ ॥

  Dhhan Dhhan Bhag Thina Sadhh Jana Har Keerathan Gae Gunee Jan Banathia ||

  Blessed, blessed is the good fortune of those holy people, who sing the Kirtan of the Lord*s Praises, and so become virtuous.

• ਧਨੁ ਧਨੁ ਭਾਗ ਤਿਨਾ ਗੁਰਮੁਖਾ ਜੋ ਗੁਰਸਿਖ ਲੈਸਭ ਦੂ ਵਡੇ ਭਾਗ ਗੁਰਸਿਖਾ ਕੇ ਜੋ ਗੁਰ ਚਰਣੀ ਸਿਖ ਪੜਤਿਆ ॥੧੮॥ ਮਨੁ ਜਿਣਤਿਆ ॥

  धनु धनु भाग तिना गुरमुखा जो गुरसिख लै मनु जिणतिआ ॥

  Dhhan Dhhan Bhag Thina Guramukha Jo Gurasikh Lai Man Jinathia ||

  Blessed, blessed is the good fortune of those Gurmukhs, who live as Gursikhs, and conquer their minds.

• ਸਭ ਦੂ ਵਡੇ ਭਾਗ ਗੁਰਸਿਖਾ ਕੇ ਜੋ ਗੁਰ ਚਰਣੀ ਸਿਖ ਪੜਤਿਆ ॥੧੮॥

  सभ दू वडे भाग गुरसिखा के जो गुर चरणी सिख पड़तिआ ॥१८॥

  Sabh Dhoo Vaddae Bhag Gurasikha Kae Jo Gur Charanee Sikh Parrathia ||18||

  But the greatest good fortune of all, is that of the Guru*s Sikhs, who fall at the Guru*s feet. ||18||
