  Jaitsree, Fifth Mehl:

• ਆਏ ਅਨਿਕ ਜਨਮ ਭ੍ਰਮਿ ਸਰਣੀ ॥

  आए अनिक जनम भ्रमि सरणी ॥

  Aeae Anik Janam Bhram Saranee ||

  After wandering through so many incarnations, I have come to Your Sanctuary.

• ਉਧਰੁ ਦੇਹ ਅੰਧ ਕੂਪ ਤੇ ਲਾਵਹੁ ਅਪੁਨੀ ਚਰਣੀ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥

  उधरु देह अंध कूप ते लावहु अपुनी चरणी ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥

  Oudhhar Dhaeh Andhh Koop Thae Lavahu Apunee Charanee ||1|| Rehao ||

  Save me - lift my body up out of the deep, dark pit of the world, and attach me to Your feet. ||1||Pause||

• ਗਿਆਨੁ ਧਿਆਨੁ ਕਿਛੁ ਕਰਮੁ ਨ ਜਾਨਾ ਨਾਹਿਨ ਨਿਰਮਲ ਕਰਣੀ ॥

  गिआनु धिआनु किछु करमु न जाना नाहिन निरमल करणी ॥

  Gian Dhhian Kishh Karam N Jana Nahin Niramal Karanee ||

  I do not know anything about spiritual wisdom, meditation or karma, and my way of life is not clean and pure.

• ਸਾਧਸੰਗਤਿ ਕੈ ਅੰਚਲਿ ਲਾਵਹੁ ਬਿਖਮ ਨਦੀ ਜਾਇ ਤਰਣੀ ॥੧॥

  साधसंगति कै अंचलि लावहु बिखम नदी जाइ तरणी ॥१॥

  Sadhhasangath Kai Anchal Lavahu Bikham Nadhee Jae Tharanee ||1||

  Please attach me to the hem of the robe of the Saadh Sangat, the Company of the Holy; help me to cross over the terrible river. ||1||

• ਸੁਖ ਸੰਪਤਿ ਮਾਇਆ ਰਸ ਮੀਠੇ ਇਹ ਨਹੀ ਮਨ ਮਹਿ ਧਰਣੀ ॥

  सुख संपति माइआ रस मीठे इह नही मन महि धरणी ॥

  Sukh Sanpath Maeia Ras Meethae Eih Nehee Man Mehi Dhharanee ||

  Comforts, riches and the sweet pleasures of Maya - do not implant these within your mind.

• ਹਰਿ ਦਰਸਨ ਤ੍ਰਿਪਤਿ ਨਾਨਕ ਦਾਸ ਪਾਵਤ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮ ਰੰਗ ਆਭਰਣੀ ॥੨॥੮॥੧੨॥

  हरि दरसन त्रिपति नानक दास पावत हरि नाम रंग आभरणी ॥२॥८॥१२॥

  Har Dharasan Thripath Naanak Dhas Pavath Har Nam Rang Abharanee ||2||8||12||

  Slave Nanak is satisfied and satiated by the Blessed Vision of the Lord*s Darshan; his only ornamentation is the love of the Lord*s Name. ||2||8||12||

• ਹਰਿ ਮਨਿ ਤਨਿ ਵਸਿਆ ਸੋਈ ॥

  हरि मनि तनि वसिआ सोई ॥

  Har Man Than Vasia Soee ||

  The Lord abides in my mind and body.

• ਜੈ ਜੈ ਕਾਰੁ ਕਰੇ ਸਭੁ ਕੋਈ ॥

  जै जै कारु करे सभु कोई ॥

  Jai Jai Kar Karae Sabh Koee ||

  Everyone congratulates me on my victory.

• ਗੁਰ ਪੂਰੇ ਕੀ ਵਡਿਆਈ ॥

  गुर पूरे की वडिआई ॥

  Gur Poorae Kee Vaddiaee ||

  This is the glorious greatness of the Perfect Guru.

• ਤਾ ਕੀ ਕੀਮਤਿ ਕਹੀ ਨ ਜਾਈ ॥੧॥

  ता की कीमति कही न जाई ॥१॥

  Tha Kee Keemath Kehee N Jaee ||1||

  His value cannot be described. ||1||

• ਹਉ ਕੁਰਬਾਨੁ ਜਾਈ ਤੇਰੇ ਨਾਵੈ ॥

  हउ कुरबानु जाई तेरे नावै ॥

  Ho Kuraban Jaee Thaerae Navai ||

  I am a sacrifice to Your Name.

• ਜਿਸ ਨੋ ਬਖਸਿ ਲੈਹਿ ਮੇਰੇ ਪਿਆਰੇ ਸੋ ਜਸੁ ਤੇਰਾ ਗਾਵੈ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥

  जिस नो बखसि लैहि मेरे पिआरे सो जसु तेरा गावै ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥

  Jis No Bakhas Laihi Maerae Piarae So Jas Thaera Gavai ||1|| Rehao ||

  He alone, whom You have forgiven, O my Beloved, sings Your Praises. ||1||Pause||

• ਤੂੰ ਭਾਰੋ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਮੇਰਾ ॥

  तूं भारो सुआमी मेरा ॥

  Thoon Bharo Suamee Maera ||

  You are my Great Lord and Master.

• ਸੰਤਾਂ ਭਰਵਾਸਾ ਤੇਰਾ ॥

  संतां भरवासा तेरा ॥

  Santhan Bharavasa Thaera ||

  You are the support of the Saints.

• ਨਾਨਕ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਸਰਣਾਈ ॥

  नानक प्रभ सरणाई ॥

  Naanak Prabh Saranaee ||

  Nanak has entered God*s Sanctuary.

• ਮੁਖਿ ਨਿੰਦਕ ਕੈ ਛਾਈ ॥੨॥੨੨॥੮੬॥

  मुखि निंदक कै छाई ॥२॥२२॥८६॥

  Mukh Nindhak Kai Shhaee ||2||22||86||
