• ਧਨਾਸਰੀ ਮਹਲਾ ੫ ॥

  धनासरी महला ५ ॥

  Dhhanasaree Mehala 5 ||

  Dhanaasaree, Fifth Mehl:

• ਠਾਕੁਰੁ ਗਾਈਐ ਆਤਮ ਰੰਗਿ ॥

  ठाकुरु गाईऐ आतम रंगि ॥

  Thakur Gaeeai Atham Rang ||

  Sing the Praises of the Lord and Master, with the love of your soul.

• ਜਾ ਕਉ ਹਰਿ ਰੰਗੁ ਲਾਗੋ ਇਸੁ ਜੁਗ ਮਹਿ ਸੋ ਕਹੀਅਤ ਹੈ ਸੂਰਾ ॥

  जा कउ हरि रंगु लागो इसु जुग महि सो कहीअत है सूरा ॥

  Ja Ko Har Rang Lago Eis Jug Mehi So Keheeath Hai Soora ||

  He alone is called a warrior, who is attached to the Lord*s Love in this age.

• ਆਤਮ ਜਿਣੈ ਸਗਲ ਵਸਿ ਤਾ ਕੈ ਜਾ ਕਾ ਸਤਿਗੁਰੁ ਪੂਰਾ ॥੧॥

  आतम जिणै सगल वसि ता कै जा का सतिगुरु पूरा ॥१॥

  Atham Jinai Sagal Vas Tha Kai Ja Ka Sathigur Poora ||1||

  Through the Perfect True Guru, he conquers his own soul, and then everything comes under his control. ||1||

• ਸਰਣੀ ਪਾਵਨ ਨਾਮ ਧਿਆਵਨ ਸਹਜਿ ਸਮਾਵਨ ਸੰਗਿ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥

  सरणी पावन नाम धिआवन सहजि समावन संगि ॥१॥ रहाउ ॥

  Saranee Pavan Nam Dhhiavan Sehaj Samavan Sang ||1|| Rehao ||

  Those who seek His Sanctuary, and meditate on the Naam, the Name of the Lord, are blended with the Lord in celestial peace. ||1||Pause||

• ਜਨ ਕੇ ਚਰਨ ਵਸਹਿ ਮੇਰੈ ਹੀਅਰੈ ਸੰਗਿ ਪੁਨੀਤਾ ਦੇਹੀ ॥

  जन के चरन वसहि मेरै हीअरै संगि पुनीता देही ॥

  Jan Kae Charan Vasehi Maerai Heearai Sang Puneetha Dhaehee ||

  The feet of the Lord*s humble servant abide in my heart; with them, my body is made pure.

• ਜਨ ਕੀ ਧੂਰਿ ਦੇਹੁ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਨਿਧਿ ਨਾਨਕ ਕੈ ਸੁਖੁ ਏਹੀ ॥੨॥੪॥੩੫॥

  जन की धूरि देहु किरपा निधि नानक कै सुखु एही ॥२॥४॥३५॥

  Jan Kee Dhhoor Dhaehu Kirapa Nidhh Naanak Kai Sukh Eaehee ||2||4||35||

  O treasure of mercy, please bless Nanak with the dust of the feet of Your humble servants; this alone brings peace. ||2||4||35||

• ਧੰਨੁ ਧਨੁ ਭਾਗ ਤਿਨਾ ਭਗਤ ਜਨਾ ਜੋ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮਾ ਹਰਿ ਮੁਖਿ ਕਹਤਿਆ ॥

  धंनु धनु भाग तिना भगत जना जो हरि नामा हरि मुखि कहतिआ ॥

  Dhhann Dhhan Bhag Thina Bhagath Jana Jo Har Nama Har Mukh Kehathia ||

  Blessed, blessed is the good fortune of those devotees, who, with their mouths, utter the Name of the Lord.

• ਧਨੁ ਧਨੁ ਭਾਗ ਤਿਨਾ ਸੰਤ ਜਨਾ ਜੋ ਹਰਿ ਜਸੁ ਸ੍ਰਵਣੀ ਸੁਣਤਿਆ ॥

  धनु धनु भाग तिना संत जना जो हरि जसु स्रवणी सुणतिआ ॥

  Dhhan Dhhan Bhag Thina Santh Jana Jo Har Jas Sravanee Sunathia ||

  Blessed, blessed is the good fortune of those Saints, who, with their ears, listen to the Lord*s Praises.

• ਧਨੁ ਧਨੁ ਭਾਗ ਤਿਨਾ ਸਾਧ ਜਨਾ ਹਰਿ ਕੀਰਤਨੁ ਗਾਇ ਗੁਣੀ ਜਨ ਬਣਤਿਆ ॥

  धनु धनु भाग तिना साध जना हरि कीरतनु गाइ गुणी जन बणतिआ ॥

  Dhhan Dhhan Bhag Thina Sadhh Jana Har Keerathan Gae Gunee Jan Banathia ||

  Blessed, blessed is the good fortune of those holy people, who sing the Kirtan of the Lord*s Praises, and so become virtuous.

• ਧਨੁ ਧਨੁ ਭਾਗ ਤਿਨਾ ਗੁਰਮੁਖਾ ਜੋ ਗੁਰਸਿਖ ਲੈਸਭ ਦੂ ਵਡੇ ਭਾਗ ਗੁਰਸਿਖਾ ਕੇ ਜੋ ਗੁਰ ਚਰਣੀ ਸਿਖ ਪੜਤਿਆ ॥੧੮॥ ਮਨੁ ਜਿਣਤਿਆ ॥

  धनु धनु भाग तिना गुरमुखा जो गुरसिख लै मनु जिणतिआ ॥

  Dhhan Dhhan Bhag Thina Guramukha Jo Gurasikh Lai Man Jinathia ||

  Blessed, blessed is the good fortune of those Gurmukhs, who live as Gursikhs, and conquer their minds.

• ਸਭ ਦੂ ਵਡੇ ਭਾਗ ਗੁਰਸਿਖਾ ਕੇ ਜੋ ਗੁਰ ਚਰਣੀ ਸਿਖ ਪੜਤਿਆ ॥੧੮॥

  सभ दू वडे भाग गुरसिखा के जो गुर चरणी सिख पड़तिआ ॥१८॥

  Sabh Dhoo Vaddae Bhag Gurasikha Kae Jo Gur Charanee Sikh Parrathia ||18||

  But the greatest good fortune of all, is that of the Guru*s Sikhs, who fall at the Guru*s feet. ||18||
